I Electronic Visual Poetry Call Against Gender Violence IES "Antonio M ª Calero" Sexism in advertising

Inspired by "I Call for Net Art / Visual Poetry Against Gender Violence" workshop conducted by the Sun and Visual BOEK861-Boek in 2008, the Co-education program (Plan for Gender Equality ) IES "Antonio M ª Calero" de Pozoblanco (Córdoba) made this call as an activity of value education and awareness for the eradication of gender violence.

ELECTRONIC BASES OF THE CALL

1. Topic: "Visual Poetry Against Gender Violence."
2. activity is aimed both at students of the Centre as those / these artists who want to send their contributions.
3. For the approach, message and content of works should take into account that the recipient is secondary school students, high school and vocational training, ie, mostly teenage audience. Works should therefore be able to understand and should be avoided inappropriate messages or images. Failure to meet this requirement, some contributions may not be published.
4. may be submitted up to three visual poems.
5. will use an email address for each poem visual.
6. The file size in jpg format shall be 1 mega maximum for each work.
7. The deadline ends on November 20, 2009.

9. should indicate in the subject line the theme of "visual poetry against gender violence." The content of the message should indicate: title of work, name and nationality in order to facilitate documentation of partnerships for electronic publication.
